Hey everyone. I really hope that you have all been well.
I think most of you can somewhat agree with me that music is everyone's best friend. I love when songs speak whenever I'm unable to express my emotions and how certain songs can very much affect my mood.
I've always loved listening to songs that I could relate to. Not that I like bringing this up, but back when I was in a relationship, I was very much into cheesy and quirky love songs but right now, I'd cringe even if it randomly comes up on the radio - which kinda sucks because some of those songs are really good to listen to.
So, I came up with two playlists in my phone and if I may add, Apple Music is one of the best things ever other than Netflix! It's just so great to have access to almost every song there is (and only paying like $10/month, say whut!). It's also a great platform to be discovering new songs since I'm usually pretty outdated.
Today, I thought I'd share the two playlists I have and I come about creating them.

Good Vibes
I created this playlist when I first started working because it was when I realized that I was developing anxiety. Needless to say, I eventually found out that I do have anxiety and it felt relatively new to me because although I have always been an over-thinker, I didn't know that it could go to the extreme.

The songs here are just extremely enlightening and carries such a positive message that calms me before shift starts. It's about embracing every challenge and living your life to the fullest. I actually added a couple more when I was emotionally healing from the breakup. I noticed that songs like Out of the Woods and One Day are much more healthier to listen to at this stage. It gives me a proper and slightly more mature closure.

Tearbreakers
I'm sure most of you would roll your eyes when I elaborate on this but anyways this playlist doesn't need much explaination. I created this playlist when my relationship ended months ago and I usually save it for sleepless nights or long bus rides. I know it seems as though all this happened a long time ago but to me, it feels like just yesterday and these songs still get to me so I definitely won't listen to them during my ride to work.
These songs not only represent my breakup, but it also has some of the saddest songs I've listened to. Speaking of which, if you have not watched a daughter's serenade to her mother on Ellen, go search it up on youtube and if you don't shed even a single tear after watching the video, then you should probably go back to whatever heartless planet you came from. Lol, kidding!

As you can tell, I'm easily influenced by songs so my song selection is pretty important. I used to be the kind of person who listens just for fun but I feel like any stupid happy love song could just bring me back to the past - which I have stopped running away from but still, an awful place to visit.
Anyways, I have to admit that I love writing posts like this and I hope you loved it too.
Happy 1st May to everyone and have a great week ahead! Xx
I love that you have a mix of well known and not so popular songs, as well as different aged ones.

Haha yes, I'm actually pretty outdated and I love songs that others stopped loving years ago lol.
